Back yard / patio

The first photo was taken pre-mother's day. I'm adding color with bougainvillea and such - and as you can see they need to be 'put in the ground' along with the potted palms from the old place. the second is progress. Somewhere in there is a little vegetable / herb garden that is doing quite well :). The entire patio is quite large and I'll post a photo facing in the other direction later. There is a huge hedge along the side of the house, and a 12-foot red rose "tree" -- which is now in bloom!

The streets in my community are all in this cobblestone-like brick. The people are 'so nice' and the neighborhood, so clean and quaint .. this must be: Stepford, CA!
